Production builders are good at what they do. They repeat a plan, buy in volume, and deliver a house that looks like the rendering because the rendering was the plan. If that is the house you want, you should hire one.

Custom is slower on purpose. You are not picking from a book. You are deciding how you live, what the number can hold, and then drawing a home that fits both. New Oak Homes is a custom home builder in Greenville and Spartanburg. We do not pretend to be a national production shop, and we do not reserve custom for the ultra-wealthy.

What actually changes

• Architecture is in-house, not a plan-book stamp with your name on the cover.
• Budget is locked before the pretty picture — mid $600s through signature estates, including work well into the millions.
• You get a named project manager, not a rotating superintendent and a sales desk after the contract.
• Selections happen against the number. We will tell you when the money is better in the windows than in a foundation upgrade.

Inventory is still custom

The Piedmont, The Parris Oak, and The Vista are collection homes we already know how to build. They are not production boxes. They are New Oak plans, on New Oak dirt, with the same trades. If you want one that is already going up, walk it. If you want one drawn around your life, pick a homesite.
